Xubuntu on a 2013 Macbook Air

I was able to install Xubuntu on a 2013 Macbook Air. I originally installed Ubuntu but decided to switch to Xubuntu. Xubuntu comes with Xfce, which is a stable, light and configurable desktop environment and I decided it would probaly be a better choice for an older machine.

This laptop that I picked up for $25 is scorchingly fast with Linux. I now have a fully supported OS with security updates. I can throw this in my backpack and take it with me anywhere I go and not worry about it. Not a bad deal if you ask me.
